STEFANO NAPPI MEMORIAL GARDEN

Stefano's mom in the garden the first spring after it was planted.




 "The students of Lyman Moore Middle wanted to remember their friend, our son.. Stefano Nappi. It started with the suggestion of planting a tree but grew into a beautiful garden. The students met with Landscaper, Meg Lord and spoke of all the things they loved and remembered in their friend Stefano.
Flowers of red, white and green to commemorate his proud Italian heritage, a stone bench, ceramic frogs, a bird bath, a weeping cherry tree and many other beautiful plants went into the design.
The garden was created in the courtyard of Lyman Moore Middle school. A dedication ceremony was given and 250 students declared  the garden a place of healing to reflect upon life and their profound love.
Tens years have passed.... old friends, present and past students as well as staff members still remember and enjoy Stefano's Memorial garden by holding classes, eating lunch or taking prom pictures!


Meg Lord Landscaping captured the love and memories conveyed to her in the creation of Stefano's garden. She did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to honor the memory of someone they love. "

                                 YODER MEMORIAL LANDSCAPE

"After my wife’s recent death, the family decided to hold her memorial services at our home, an old farm with plenty of space for such a gathering.  To prepare for the event, and honor my wife’s memory, we decided to create a memorial space with trees and shrubs planted for her.  We immediately thought of asking Meg Lord to assist us with the design and installation of the plantings for the memorial space.  We could not have been more happy with the results.
